FOR WEAPONS TRAINING (Bokken & Jo) - SUNDAY mornings
Bokken (sword) and jo (staff) classes are conducted
in the Sheldon Forest as they have been for the past 25 years.
Training is conducted in the car park outside the

The outdoor dojo is also readily accessible by railway,
being ten minutes walk south of Turramurra railway station. But,
hidden as it is, the forest out-door dojo may be hard to find and
these directions may help:
- Travel north from the Ku-ring-gai
Town Hall Dojo indoor dojo (see above) along the Pacific Highway
from Sydney, and continue past the traffic lights
at the turn-off to Bobbin Head Road.
- Take the first
left turn off the highway after the Bobbin Head Rd traffic lights
into Warragal Road.
- Then cross the bridge over the railway
line and continue along Warragal Rd down the hill for about 150
metres from the highway, the Sheldon Forest, with 30 metre tall
Blue gum trees, is on your left.
- At a point where Warragal Road
turns sharply to the right, there is a dirt road to the left
and a white wooden sign indicating “Aikido Dojo”.
